hardware error check

today I had my system Completely die on me one second it was working and the other it just turned off Abruptly,, I was playing a game call of juarez but ive never had this problem before and i dont think its my hardware overheating as ive got 6 case fans so dunno, maybe this is the sign for me to build new computer

Ive checked the event system log and all it says was it was an hardware error

Quite possible, why don't you run some diagnostics on your system?
Try a live bootable cd such as UBCD, http://www.ghacks.net/2006/08/06/the-ultimate-diagnostic-boot-cd/

So is your pc completely dead...or will it boot? Might be your power supply, over the years I have solved a lot of intermittent weird pc issues with the replacement of the power supply...and a lot too have been other issues.

in other words it could be anything...you have to be a detective.
