I need some help deciding on parts. I am building a new gaming pc and need help w/ video card and ram decisions. So far i have an ASUS P%P800-SE MOBO, P4 524 3.06Ghz cpu, Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS sound card and twin 120 Gb hard drives in a Thermaltake Lanfire case. Any reccomendations on memory (4Gb of PC3200 is the max for the MOBO) and video cards (AGP 4x/8x preferrably ATI based) would be great.

That's not going to be a very good gaming PC...not for long at least. All the parts you are using are being phased out. That rig(so far) would be a low-mid range gaming machine. What's your budget?

I'm trying not to spend too much, i have a new baby so most of my money right now is going toward that. i'm looking for the best bang for my buck kinda thing.

Go with a x850xt for a relatively cheap gaming video card, and I would recommend the 2 gig dual channel kit of corsair ram (only if you play bf2) in my opinion.

I think i am going to sell the ASUS MOBO and the P4 that i have and go with a Pentuim D 930 on a Gigabyte GA-8I945P-G. Still keeping the same vid card and sound card. I found a deal on them so it wond cost me too much more than what i will sell the other CPU and MOBO for. So RAM ideas for this set up? Looking at 2GB of DDR2 (240 pin)
