memory dump

i m using windows xp. it was running very well till last weak. but now it says Memory Dumping on a blue screen. what is that?? do i need to reinstall it or is there any hardware error.
 
are you running too much applications?
Is your memory dead? -trying to unplug 1 and see. change slots with others and stuff.
Try reformating.
