I was recently forced to reinstall windows due to an issue i was having. When I attempted to reinstall windows the following happend: Window's installation would boot and begin to load drivers. When it was finished loading the various drivers, a blue screen came up saying, Session3_Initialization_Failed and that the computer had been stopped to prevent damage. The message said that newly installed software and or hardware could be the cause. But my hard drive has been formatted and there is no new hardware in my computer.

Also I am unable to acess the windows recovery console.

Pentium 4 1.1 ghz
512 mb ram
Geforce 2 MX/MX 200
Windows xp home

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok i did some more searching and I believe the problem is with the motherboard. I've had a similar experience with this particular motherboard model before. So I have decided to simply upgrade to a new board. My computer is due for an upgrade anyway.

Thanks everyone.
