hash check?

I believe it's a way of making sure the file that as downloaded is complete and isnt corrupt, since each file has it's own hash signature, it can check to make sure it's the same as the way it's suppose to be.
 
UPNP is for your router. If you have it enabled on your router it wll allow Upnp enabled software to go into your router and ensure the ports are forwarded correctly.
 
thanks jj, I'm going to try and enable it now,
ill have to have a look at the router settings on my dads computer (mine is on a wireless network with that)

it actually check each piece data to ensure it has the correct hash and ensure the piece is not corrupt
