have 9800xt, what next?

I have a 9800 pro flashed to an xt

I want to upgrade to the next step, looking to spend in the $250 area....


Would upgrading to a Radeon X800 GTO2 256MB cause a significant improvment?

Assuming your card is AGP, which I think it is.

Yes. Anything from the 7 series of nVidia or the X1xxx series from ATI would make a noticable increase, assuming you are playing games.
