Have sound in StarCraft 2, nothing else. Why?

So I bought an Alienware today (only bought it because it was an AMAZING deal) and I've been playing SC2 on it all day with my Plantronic headset and I had sound.

I exit SC2 and go to play Counter Strike and I have absolutely no sound, strange right? So I go to YouTube and click on a random video to see if I have sound there, nothing.

So I have sound in SC2, but nothing else. Anyone know why this is happening?

right click on the sound thingy at the bottem right corner of the screen and click "open voume mixer" starcraft 2 might be up but the others down

It shows steam at 100%

right click again though this time open "play back devices" right click the headphones and just hit test
