Have you played BFBadCompany2 with a dual core?

I'm interested to hear the feedback on this game from people who are playing with a rig similar to mine.

I want to get this game, but i want to be able to enjoy it. (I'm kind of anal if i can't play it on or around the high settings).

so if you got a dual core and are playing this game, give me some feedback

I run the game on a Quad, so I don't know, but is upgrading an option? Quads are cheap now.

It will run,But on maybe medium setting depending on yor monitor res.

Ive played BC2 on the following system and it ran fine on medium @ 1680 x1050...anything higher than that though it struggled in DX10 mode,Not sure what it will be like on yours been in DX9.

With my sig rig, I maxed it out, never dipped below 35fps even in heavy action.

yeah my other computer i have a athlon II x2 240 @ 2.8Ghz, 4 gigs of ddr2 800, and a xfx 4890, play it on a 22 in 1680x1050, and play it on max everything stays minimum of 35fps max ? (ive got vsync enabled in all my games)

It sounds like a CPU bottleneck. I know even ,y 3.8ghz dually is a bottleneck sometimes...

ha, that is the exact processor i had. my only limitation was my gpu (as far as i know). i never really got below about 45 fps even in moderately heavy scenes. depending on that gpu of yours (not sure exactly how powerful it is) you should be fine. i actually just upgraded only my cpu. i'll play a little bit later tonight and i'll let you know if i see any difference at all.

sheesh, going from my dual core at 3.31 ghz to a quad core phenom ii 955 at 3.9... big difference in most games. cod6: now a constant 60 fps at all times. burnout paradise: now a constant 60 fps at all times. loving it!
