Having a really hard time with Windows 10

I have been trying to install Windows 10 for a while now...

I have unplugged every peripheral, I have disable my firewall and anit-virus, I have closed all programs..

I have also downloaded it three times now, each time when installing it hangs up at 2% then proceeds from there.. at 71 percent it stops, and launches a blue window indicating it is done, then an error message pops up.

Take your pick! It seems to be random, I have gotten a dozen errors, including 0xc1900200, 0xc190017, 0xc1900201, "We Can't Upgrade The System Reserved Partition", etc..

What the hell is wrong here?! I have a Windows 7 PC with a GTX 970 OC, i7-2600K running at 4.3, 8 GB ram, SDD with almost 200 GB free, with a 500 GB back up HDD... there should be no problem!
 
NOPE... Well Windows 10 installs now, and it restarts my PC into said OS.. But then I get an installing updates boot-up screen, and it freezes.. after two hard restarts it says, reverting to previous version of windows.. and back to square one... HELP
 
I can't seem to uploaded a pic on here.. But it hangs up on the black screen with thr blue windows icon in the middle. Should be updating / loading but it just freezes. There are white dots that move in a circle but after a second it freezes and then nothing.. This is after windows 10 has finished downloading and finished installing

After a few fails it says it's reverting back to windows 7
 
The only way to solve this is fresh install providing hard drive is actually in good health. Unfortunately, more then 50 percent of upgrades to 10 require a fresh install and it seems yours will be one of them.
 
Well 6 man hours in and after someone online telling me to hard shut down the pc at 30% and then 75% it actually worked.

Only NOW that I have windows 10 working.. It freezes on boot up everytime. I have to hard reset then it works. I have power use on recommended and have shut off fast boot. Why can't windows ever work like it's supposed to.. M
 
Because upgrading to a new version of windows has always been like this from day 1, have always recommended fresh installs.
