At the moment I have a 60Gb SSD & a 1Tb HDD in my desktop. I am not happy with this setup, as I have documents, photos etc in files on both.
In short it is a mess with duplicate & split files.
I am thinking to replace both with a single 1Tb Samsung SSD.
My questions are :-
Is this practical?
Can I transfer everything, including Windows 7, from both drives to the new SSD?
I have Norton Ghost, will that successfully transfer all to the SSD?
Will all the duplicate & split files merge to one during the transfer?
I want to avoid a manual reload of everything, as it would be a nightmare for me.
Being of the older generation, I am not too computer literate. It is a struggle to solve problems, though I eventually get there given time
Many thanks for your patience.
