im trying to install windows 2000 on my Dell GX1 450+ but im having troubles the cd boots up and installs windows 2000 fine but this is where i have the trouble once the computer restarts, "you know when it says your computer is going to restart in 15 seconds time". instead of continuing from where it left of when its restarted it wants to boot up the cd again and start again

EDIT it only allows me one 1st boot device at a time either cd, HD, floppy. to boot up cd i change it to cd, and once its restarted to conitnue the install i change it to HD but once i do that it says wrong partioning table?

Are you sure when you change the boot order back to your harddrive your picking the right harddrive? I noticed you have a 80 and 320gb harddrive.

make sure "MBR / Bootsector antivirus protection" (or something like that) is disabled in the BIOS, it prevents the bootloader and partition table from being written to the disk if on.
