I had downloaded windows 64bit edition trial and it said to save it as an iso format on cd to install. But for some reason this is not doing anything for me. When I boot up with it in there and when put it in on my desktop. I have an amd 64 3000 so was wanting to try it out. Please help.

What exactly is the problem is it not booting? or wont install.

Check the iso isn't broken

You will have to check weather your hardware is compatable with x64 because it is slightly different in terms of requirments.

I tried it before and everytime i tried to install it it showed a BSOD when it was "INSTALLING DEVICES" i found out that it was my cpu.

Also, most people that haven't burned an iso before just burn the iso file onto a data cd, which is not going to work for you. If that's the case, you need to burn it as a disc image rather as just a file on a cd. Also, check your boot order, if your hdd is set before the cd drive then it's going to ignore the fact you have a boot cd in the drive.

Try burning it with ImgBurn.

It sounds like he just need to burn it as a image. Use the one like voyagerfan99 gave you a link to. Good little free burning program.
