Hello, a couple days back I posted about buying a new graphics card, and successfully bought a new XFX Radeon R9 270X and a Consair CX500m power supply. After struggling all day with my lack of computers I believe I have most of the wires in the correct spaces. But I am having trouble with 2 of my fans. The power supply came with a peripheral 4-pin cord to plug into one of the power supply spots and then plug the fans into the 4-pin slots. But having this plugged into the power supply stops the computer from turning on, I'm guessing it's shorting the circuit? The smallest fan I have and the 2 fans on the graphics card will spin for a second, but the computer does not turn on. Is their something I should be doing different?
