im considering buying one but i do not know what to buy i know that the 5770 is better but where i live its much cheaper to get a 5750 and if was to get a 5750 id eventually crossfire the card but im having difficulty choosing what card to buy

they are the price range im willing to spend

is the 5770 worth the money?

what is the difference in price?

The xfx 5770 was the card I was originally planning to get. They had problems with their drivers around last summer to october, but are fine now. They are a good mid level card, but outperformed by 6870's. If it was me i'd get the xfx ones because of their warranty, if you like this card. Do you plan to do any graphics intensive gaming with it?

i want to be able to play games decently at least graphics dont bother me because fps is nicer. but it would be nice to have nice graphics

i can get a HD4890 for the same price of a hd 5770 both 1gb i read somewhere 4890 is faster but no dx11
is it worth getting dx11?

Asuming your in the us right?, the psu should be all right, tell us what your budget is until then i would say since it is 18-30 more you should go for the 5770, since it isnt that much more and you wont always wonder that maybe you should have choose the better gpu. (thats what i would do btw)

5770 or 4890?

im not in the US ive recently moved to china and pcgaming is huge here so i can buy parts cheap.
im considering crossfire with the card i get in the future if that is a factor.

my price rage is around the price of a 1gb HD 5770

i would say go with the 5000 series card due to faster memory and dx11 support.

Honsetly, you'll be happy with either. as others have said, it depends exactly what the price difference is. if the price is managable, i say 5770 because later on down the road, you'll still be able to crossfire with even better performance than the 5750.

Really, its up to you.

The thing I like about XFX is their double lifetime warranty. It puts me at ease knowing I will have the option to exchange the card, should anything ever happen to it. Don't know much about Sapphire.

XFX also has one of the highest RMA rejection rates, if not the highest, in the industry. Dealing with XFX support has always been a hit or miss sorta thing, which is why i would go with Sapphire or Asus for a 5770. On paper the XFX warranty is great, in practice it's not.

If I remember correctly, Sapphire, Asus, and Gigabyte don't require you to register for their warranty, which is good. Sapphire usually has 2 years, Gigabyte and Asus are usually 3. Not sure how their customer support is, but it has to be better than XFX as of late.

The best warranty in the industry comes from EVGA, but they don't make ATI/AMD cards. :(
