Alright, so I backed up my 500GB drive with Acronis, onto another 500GB drive. My drive was either using 441GB or it's only allowing 441GB, because my backup file is only 373GB, and I think I had some space left, like 20-40GB free, I don't know. I used the backup wizard as well.

I might be in a position where I need to restore my drive, and I'm wondering what it will restore..

Are you making an image of your whole drive? Turn system restore off for starters you don't want to back up that crap at all.

What exactly are you backing up?
