Hey everyone, seems there are some smart people on this forum and this is my first thread. I am looking for some answers or recomendations. I currently have a "Sony Grand WEGA KDF-50WE655" 50 inch LCD TV and I am wondering about using it as a potential monitor on a new computer that I am going to build. My understand is that 1080 resolution i or p is 1920 x 1080 however it says that my tv is capable of 1366 x 768...Does that mean that my HDTV wont display a computer resolution of 1920x1080? Am I missing out on real HD programming and what would my new computer look like, if capable, on a tv of this type...I am looking at a GTX 260 as a vid card...Any iput you guys could provide would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

I'm using a Polaroid, 32inch LCD tv as a monitor and the resolotion I have on it right know is, 1280 by 720 pixels. It looks so amazing. I had it 1280 by 768 and it looked like crap. Guesing its because its a wide screen. Yours should be similiar resoltion or just check the manual to find out.
