I recently purchased a WD 160 SATA HD. I have a WD 40GB (partitioned) which is pretty full. When I tried to copy the 40 onto the 160 using Ghost, it would not copy.
Some of it would run and then stop copying. I ran the WD diagnostic on the 160...results...no problems. Yet if I try to partition it with Partition Magic, it tells me the partition is bad??? If I try to use the 160 by itself on which I have installed WinXP Professional with the 40 unplugged, it does not recognize my cd players?? I have tried numerous BIOS settings....still no joy..Any help wld be great ..tks FW
