hd in the 3.5 bay

Is there a way to put your hd securely in a 3.5 bay?

Do you mean a 5.25" bay? Assuming you're talking about a standard desktop hard drive, they're kind of made to fit in there Now if you were referring to a 5.25, they do have converters that make the drives wider (metal brackets) or you could use two screws and screw it down on a single side. That should suffice for normal use.

I've got a floppy bay, without a floppy, it measured right but it seemed like I'd have to rig it to make it work, I may have to check into a converter for a rom bay

Um...no their not. I don't know what era your referring to, but the common hard drive today most certainly doesn't fit in a 5.25" bay without some sort of adapter.

Yes. The HDD should fit in the 3.5 bay just fine. That's where most companies (Dell, Compaq, etc.) put their hard drives.

Unless you have a NOVATECH computer!!! their cases mounting brackets are usually very unorthadox!!

I don't like customers who bring them to me !!!!
