Hd Partition Help

OK I got the partition manager 2005 and im trying to merge drives C and D
drive C is empty all my stuff is on D and i want to merge em both to make it all just one C drive and when i tried to merge em it said it couldnt find any partitions that could be merged, C drive is FAT32 and D drive is NTFS
anyone have a solution to this?
 
wait it says
Windows cannot format this drive. Quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive, and make sure that no windows is displaying the contents of the drive. Then try formattin again.

nothings on C drive, its empty and it wont let me format it....

you have the windows install disk? Boot off of it and either enter the recovery console and fdisk it or go to install windows and once you hit the screen where it asks you to pick the destination drive you will have options to format and alter partitions.
 
ok i made C drive to NTFS, all i did was open command window and typed convert C: /fs:ntfs, after this it said some windows applications are using this drive do yu want to dismount this and i said yes and it converted it and when i goto partition manager 2005 demo it still sasy could not find any partitions thatn could be merged......... somethings up
 
could be the demo has limited functions and it wont allow you to do that. try read what extra features are in the full version.
