HD PC Gaming?

are you sure the resolution will work becasue its a very acward resolution by like 6 pixels or somthing, i think 1300 by 768 but the tv is 1366... hmm

You won't necessiarly have to play the games in 1366x768. I'm almost positive it will work in lower resolutions such as 1024x768.

yea im just asking will the tv work as a monitor in general becasue i think the resolution is off a little, not just for games, but for general purposes

how do you create a costum resolution?

Assuming you have upto date Nvidia drivers, Right Click Desktop > Nvidia Control Panel. Now ive got no idea what to do here, so ill change it back to the old style. Click View > Use Classic Nvidia Control Panel, then right click the desktop etc. Now click Screen Resolutions and Refresh Rates > And in the little "Custom Resolutions and Refresh Rates" section click add, and type it in. OR alternatively download a program called powerstrip.

EDIT: With custom resolutions, alot of games will allow you to select them from their own in game display settings.

If you're using the Custom Resolution tool in the driver you can only create resolutions that are evenly dividable by 8. Try 1368*768. You'll lose two pixels, but it's not something you'd notice. If you want exactly 1366*768, you'll need to use Powerstrip.

My 32" HDTV came this morning, and i bought it with the intention of using it as a monitor. I can safely say it looks amazing! Plugged it in with a HDMI to DVI gold plated cable, and it set the resolution automatically. Its set at 1280 x 720 with no overscan.
