HDD and USB

Is it possible to use an portable HDD ( imation) like an USB key. (copying files to other computers)

Yeah, a portable hard drive is basically a big flash drive. Does it have a USB port?

I would have personally thought that was probably one of the main reasons for portable harddrives so yeh u can if it can be connected via USB xD

Yeah. Just as long as it has an enclosure, you can. But if it doesn't have an enclosure you can get one.
