HDD Huge Problems

Hi there,
I got 3 HDDs (Samsung HD103SJ, WD Caviar Green 500GB and Corsair 32GB SSD). For about 2 months now I am not able to run my computer. Today I wanted to install Windows and everything went well till the 50% mark. Suddenly he showed me up an error (0x80070002). I thought, well okay, I'm to restart the computer now and will give it one more try. Restart -> none of the three HDDs is there anymore. I didn't change a thing and I don't really know what the hell is happening there. From time to time everything works fine but then, boom! I just started the computer again and tada the drives are back. How can I fix this? Is this a mainboard issue? (MSI P67A-C43)
 
Please answer on the following questions so we can have more detailed informations about your problem:

1. How are your hard disk drives connected?
2. Do you hear any weird sounds from your hard disk drive(s)?
3. How did you attempt to install Windows?
4. Did you completely format your entire hard disk drive before attempting to install Windows on it?
5. Did you touch any BIOS options?
6. Did you overclock anything?

Hahaha yea!That is why I use IDE/PATA all the time =D Once they are fully plugged in then even the God cannot unplug it out anymore =D
 
I dont know if they make them,but ide harddrives are still being sold and there cheap,almost giving them away, if you find one thats priced high,youre looking in the wrongplace.

That is why I have a huge supplies of IDE drives ^.^ And I increase it whenever I can ^.^

its a auction site where you use credits and sometimes pay $5 or $10 for shipping,
so you can get a 250gb harddrive for like $10 plus $10-20 in credits

I got a 40gb harddrive for $10 worth of credits and got free shipping,i auctioned off coke points to get my credits so i ended up getting the harddrive for FREE! I also get other computer parts for free too!

IF IDE drives still got we should back to classic ages. NOW WE ARE IN MODERN WORLD. THE TECHNOLOGY ARE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY. IDE IS OLD DRIVE. WE SHOULD ALWAYS GO FORWARD LATEST HARDWARE. THEY PROVIDE NEW FEATURES. SO WE SHOULD FORGET ABOUT IDE. FOR THOSE WHO CRAZY IDE THEY SHOULD LEAVE IT. WHERE GOT NOWADAYS MOTHERBORD COMES WITH IDE CONTROLLER? IF THEY DOES THEN WE CAN GO FOR IDE DRIVES. PLS CONSIDER ABOUT IT!!!

IDE and SATA are both good.
Just because someone uses IDE does not make him/her has less knowledge.

Typical world scenario:

Person 1: Hey I have the newest SATA SSD drive and you don't.You should really consider to start using modern technology so you can know how to use it and learn about it.

Person 2: Yea you got expensive SATA SSD drive and I have old IDE drive so?I know computer programming and I make programs with which I earn money and with that money I can buy tons of SATA SSD drives which are even better than yours.

Person 1: You are lying.

Person 2: Did you come to that conclusion just because I am using old IDE drive and you are using THE BEST SATA SSD drive?

Person 1: That too and also because you use Windows XP and I use Windows 7!

Person 2: And I suppose that just because you use the newest products that AUTOMATICALLY means that you have knowledge about hardware,software and programming?

Person 1: Of course!I use it and you don't because you don't know how to use it and also do not have money to afford it.

Person 2: Really?

Person 1: Yes really.

Person 2: Ok then go and make ANY useful software which will work on old AND new hardware and you can use ANY programming language you want.

Person 1: Omg that is really not hard.Copy/paste!

Person 2: Yea you are right...copy/paste............LOL!


CONCLUSION:

People with money and newest products (hardware or software or both) think that automatically increases their knowledge about these things and are not even aware that a single and simple EXE file from Windows OS such as "xcopy.exe" has a LOT more things (knowledge) than they have in their heads.
