HDD Light on Case

Hi I just installed transferred my old computer stuff into my new case but for some reason the HDD light on the case does not blink or light up when I go through any activity. Only the POWER light is on solid. What might be going on?

i can only think of two resona for this, either:

a) your HDD is being gay (not likely)

b) you have not plugged in the HDD_LED connection from the front of the case into your motherboard. If you need a hand doing this then post up what motherboard you have and we can help

I have the Intel Desktop Boards D845EBG2,
but I do know that the HDD_Led is plugged in.

Maybe you plugged it in backwards. LEDs will only light up when they're plugged in properly.

Nice observation, I got it to work now. I guess it was on backwards I plugged it the reverse away making the letter face the other way. Thanks so much OvenMaster.
