Are you kidding?!

Of coutse you are I think?
Recently prior to installing Vista on the second ide drive here I has to shrink the XP Pro primary from the 238gb down to right around 147gb to create a second storage partition there. What do you think was able to do that effectively? GParted is the name that should come right up. It's free and effective.
In fact a new article someone posted at
http://www.computerforum.com/78086-dual-boot-xp-vista-same-hdd.html points directly to GParted when going to dual boot XP and Vista on the 2nd part or Vista and XP on the 2nd part. First you have to "resize" or shrink the primary in order to have the space available for the second one. GParted as well as the Windows installer can be used to create the NTFS type partition needed there. Gee? I wonder who started that thread? hhmmm...
