i dont no. Dell said it had 2 hard drives that made up 2 hard drives that make up to 360 gb but when i go into my compyter it says i have Recovery disk which is 9.99 gb and a OS one thats 136 gb and one named DATAPART1 which is 149 gb right...
 
160GB in my desktop and laptop! Beat that! :D

I'm honestly rather frugal and never needed that much space. I'm probably using some of the most I ever have in a while for VMWare images, but that's still only about 40GB worth on my lappy(that is total with Vista as the host OS...)
 
i'm with too, only have a 150Gb in bay 1 on my laptop as the main and a 100 in bay 2 which i keep all my linux distros, parallels images, bckups, and work. and i am no where near needing more soon. if i were to upgrade i would get a 150 for bay 2 juat b/c i keep EVERY linux distro i download. (dont want to spend the 10-50 min it takes with my connection :P)
 
woo hoo i win! lol i have a 40 gig and an 80 gig in MY computer.

the other computers in my house have a four gig, three 20 gigs, a 160 gig, and a few that hold under 500MB
 
well if you think of it (kinda funny i was thinking of this a few days go) but back in the day... well before i was born. the refrigerator size hd could store like 1kb-1mb (dont know the exacts but if you think lets take 1 meg.
1m=1,000kb=1,000,000bytes*8=8,000,000bits.
so that refridge size hd could hold 8 million ones and zeros... not that much if you think about it. Now aday
1TB=1,000GB=1,000,000MB=1,000,000,000kb=1,000,000,000,000bites*8=8,000,000,000,000 So today we can hold eight trillion ones and zeros... on something the size of a small book. kinda amazing
