HDD types

I have a Western Digital 80 7200 rpm in my PC, and it says "Enhanced IDE" or something like that on it. On my mobo's web page, it says I have SATA as HDD type. Why do I have an IDE disk then?

the SATA is running in IDE mode. This just means it isn't running in RAID mode. Both SATA and PATA(commonly called IDE) can run as IDE or RAID

Interesting...

So would that mean that the SATA hardrive would be running at ATA 133/100? if not in RAID? Sorry for asking but I am still stuck with IDE technology.
