HDMI connect

I have a gateway DX4822. I connected a HDMI cable to my TV but can't get a picture. Do I have to configure the HDMI and if so how?

change Display to number two

also make sure on tv switched to the HDMI channel, go to source button on your remote and pick the hdmi source.
