What situation would you be using the HDMI ports for Computer Monitors?

i dont think there would be any purpose, if they were solely monitors. now if it was an LCD television thats a different story, as those have speakers lol

doesnt the new GX2 have a HDMI port.....

so then monitors should have it, to get a kickass HD gaming experience..

DVI is perfectly fine. The only reason I would see to use it is if you wanted audio as well without a separate cable.

The monitor can double as a HD monitor.


Hook up a 1080 DVD player and would be good to go.
