HDMI, graphic card output help

Hi,
The computer I am using currently has 2 graphic cards - Intel HD Graphics 4000 (I assume the default one?) and an ADM Radeon HD 7670M (both of which have up to date drivers).
Lately I've been using my TV to use the computer through a HDMI cable. I'm wanting to switch the default setting to the ADM, but when I disable the Intel, I lose all output to the TV. I want to know if there's a step I have missed with the settings or is there a physical connection somewhere I need to do?

Thanks for any help,
Craig.

When you disable the iGPU, you also disable the video port on the motherboard.
You can have both GPU's enabled at the same time, but using the motherboards video ports as well as the dedicated graphic cards ports, i am not sure how.
I believe there is a workaround, because i have seen it.
Maybe some other users here knows how.

But just plug both into the graphic card. Your card should atleast have have 1x HDMI and 1x DVI.

Oh wait, are you talking about a laptop?

The integrated video will run the hdmi port on your laptop, you can't get around that. The dedicated card can only run the main screen.
