hdtv vs monitor....

1080p is basically 1920×1080

am i right?

if your computer can support that res, there is no need for anything else...

But, if you using a HDTV as a monitor, you will need a card that has a HDMI port (converters from DVI to HDMI i think are a waste, cause it not true output (correct me if im wrong))

Quite a few cards have that feature. It's a search option on newegg.com...check there. I'd post a link but i'm on a cell phone.

yeah i suspose all the latest ones have that feature, i dont have newegg web site here in england, i see new egg posted everywhere from us posts, what a weird name for web site lol......thanks for ur replys

all new (last year +) gfx cards will display that resolution with no problems

but gaming is a different story.

if you want to game at those resolutions, they you gonna have to get quite a good card (4870, GTX285 or something along there)
