Hdtv???

hey all, i have a HDTV as my monitor, i use a standard cable, (cant remember name, same as a normal computer monitor) and it all works apart from my bios wont display. Any help?
 
Did you upgrade your graphics card letely. If so, its probably that. You pc probably is still looking for the integrated graphics and then finally recognizes your card and by that time it skips past your bios. If your running vista or xp and are running an pci-e card, go to device manager and disable integrated graphics and uninstall the drivers for that.
 
im running Nvidia VGA graphics card and i put it in a while ago, it was workingwith my standard monitor but when i go into the BIOS it just wont load, even after a while it wont load it up.
