Headphones Or Speakers - Which do you use?

What do you use? Headphones or speakers?


I currently have 5.1 surround, but i only use 2 of the speakers and the sub woofer for some reason.
 
I could of swore that I have already answered a thread like this not to long back. Anyway, I have both. My computer is connected to my Sony stereo which in turn has two large main speakers with built in subs and 2 medium sized surround speakers. Although for everything other than listening to music I much prefer to use my headphones, most especially for games.

it's always easier to use headphones on a laptop because of its versatility.
..also personally i go with headphones w/ music (surround sound)

..but generally on a desktop, it's always easier to go with speakers
 
i actually have both headphones and speakers, when i play counter strike or especially scrims, i turn on the speakers to a certain point to cancel out any sound so the sounds i hear focuses on the game, and the headphones yeah i use that to hear and for the microphone for ventrilo =)
