Headphones right side stops working due to cable

Hello,

My headphones' right cup stops working because there is something with the cable. If I slightly, just slightly, push it inward at the cup, it works. But then I'll have to hold it with my fingers the whole time.

Is anyone familiar with this, and is there an easy fix? I'm not able to replace it, I'll have to buy a new one.

Thank you!

The wire is probably broken up inside the rubber boot. You can splice the wire but only if you know where exactly its broken at and if you know how to take it apart. You will most likely have to buy a new pair.

I agree with John you can splice it back together if you know how. Depending how cheap/expensive the headphones where will tell you if its worth trying to fix or replace.

Thanks guys. My current fix is a sticky tape holding the cable in such a position that it works. Will see how it goes :p
