Heat transfer Jel replacement

Can the heat transfer jel between the processor and the cooling unit be replaced because I am going to be switching out my mobo, and I know that the jel will get trashed when I take it apart.

anyways, when you take the heatsink off the thermal compound is instantly contaminated... so you'll need to replace it. arctic silver compound 5 is good stuff, like Ku-sama gave you a link to.
 
You have to use some sort of alcohol to get the thermal paste off, people refer to it as "rubbing alcohol" aka isopropyl alcohol. And no, you grandpa's 20 year old malt whiskey will not do, although it might be a nice drink. :D
