Is my MB running too hot?

same question mine runs at about 50c goin up to 66c when playing dods...... cpu runs at 40c under full load, why is my mobo hottter than me cpu???

i think its because of the chipset itself... i saw a few posts on here a while ago about the NF4 ultra chispet runing very hot. if its really concerning you i would consider trying to circulate come air onto the chipset to see if that helps things.

cheers m8, been thinkin long the same lines.......ill replace the chipset fan see wat happens and try to up the airflow around....

Well 45 C isn't too hot, his is in the 60s, pretty dangerous. I might just get some ice and throw into my computer, see if that helps.

The thing I'm worried about is I want to OC my 4200+ a bit, bump it from about 2.2 to 2.5, which should then put me over until dual core is optimized.. but will this also make my MB heat up? Think I'ma need ALOT of ice.. buy one of those bags and just dump it into my computer.. or maybe some dry ice.. yeah.. dry ice.

It might, especialy if you raise the chipset voltage. Only one way to find out though.
