Heatsink with i5 2500K?

Hi,

This may be a stupid question but is there a stock heatsink with the intel i5 2500K processor? Can't seem to find any information on any of the retailers websites. Or do I have to buy one seperately, as well as thermal paste?

The 2500K will come with a stock heatsink with pre applied thermal paste. If you want to overclock, Look into a better aftermarket heatsink and some extra thermal paste.

If the Processor is NIB then there will be a heatsink.Do not worry about that.

But if the processor is not NIB then there might be a heatsink there might not be one.If you are going through sites like ebay etc then you might find some people selling the processor only the chip itself without heatsink.So buy from a more trustworthy site and if going for a used chip and it is not given in the description then there might not be one heatsink with the chip.
