im getting a 7900gtx (the factory overclocked one maybe) do i need a heatsink for the graphics card, AND for my cpu? im getting a x2 4800 with a big typhoon. do i need another heatsink for my 7900 as well?

on the side since im already making a thread... any idea where i can find the factory overclocked one? its overclocked to 1750mhz i believe?

will the performance be THAT much difference between the factory overclocked one and the non overclocked card?

I can't help you about the difference/where to find the oc'ed cards, but yes, you do need a heat sink for your graphics card. The graphics card effectively has it's own processor (like your CPU), and if you don't put a heatsink or fan on it, the graphics card could melt, and the temp of your other drives and chips could rise, causing them to fail...anyway....yeah, you do need a heatsink.

oh thats what i meant. i knew that they came with heatsinks i just wanted to know if theyd be good enough if i wanted to slightly overclock them maybe. IF i needed a different one which i doubt any ideas? unless its not needed and it would be a waste of money
