Hello / greatings to everyone

I have a 2005 Dell dimension 3100 , but i cant play video games like command & conquer generals ect ... i would need to change my video card , i dont know allot about that and some people from the local computer store said i couldent change my video card ?

It all depends if you have right slots to support the graphics card, however even a PCI graphics card can be used to play generals. It would be safe to assume that you have PCI slots even if you don't have PCI-E or AGP ones. I think the store saw that you don't have an AGP or PCI-E slot so he automatically assumed that you can't upgrade. If you are really desparate to play General without getting a new computer, then get a PCI graphics card. Get a PCI version of the FX5200, it plays generals beautifully, I used to have one. :D:D:D
It would be better for you to take a photo of your motherboard so I can tell you once and for all what your upgrade options are.

i was just saying generals for like an example , cause i have the game , an having problems to play it offline.
