Hello everyone! I've been searching for a new laptop for a couple of months now and can't seem to find the one that's right for me. All of the tech-savvy stuff for computers is rather new to me, so I've been trying to do a lot of research.
When I would search for some top quality gaming laptops, I would most frequently come across the ASUS Rog series or an MSI but I've read some bad reviews about both; the ASUS in particular apparently has poor manufacturing.
For the most part, I'm not necessarily looking for the top-grade, able to play every video game, running everything highest setting, gaming laptop. My price range is rather flexible, though I'd prefer not to spend more than $1500. As for games, I'm looking to be able to run NBA 2k15 and Civilization without any problems. Also, I would like to be able record music onto my laptop, through ProTools, which I'm sure wouldn't be too bad with the capability of a gaming laptop.
I was also wondering if it would be better to have a HDD or SSD? If I should get Windows 8 then upgrade to Windows 10?
If I'm missing any information, just let me know.
Thanks for all the help!
