Help a desperate newb

Hi,

I recently had to buy a new Hard Drive for my computer as my old one was malfunctionning. I used to type some works on WordPad back when I had my old hard drive. I have those files on a USB flash drive, but today when I plugged it in my computer and tried to open the files (RTF) it said the path was invalid and shit ... it won't open them... Is there a WAY I can open those files again?

Have you installed a word processor?

Try installing a program set like Open Office, or Microsoft Office.

Are you sure you didnt just have short cut link icons on the usb drive instead of the actual files?
