G gold333 New Member Jun 6, 2009 #1 Hi, can somebody tell me how to set the effective ram to 1333 (up from 1066) to match my CPU and motherboard? I loaded the BIOS to defaults but I think it set the DDR3 1600 ram to 533? Can anyone tell?

bomberboysk Active Member Jun 6, 2009 #2 Set your memory clock to 800mhz in bios(1600mhz effective) if its 1600mhz memory.

Yes, faster memory=faster performance. And you should think about ocin that cpu and lettin the horses in it run free Well, if you have an aftermarket cooler...
