Help a noob

Hi all this is my first post,

I need a new tower for home, i currently have the acer aspire dual core thingy which is pretty decent but this is going to be used at my unit now for internet orders/printing.

Any ideas on which one to get for home? all I do really is ebay/website/video editing/pictures etc... budget £200-£400 or something..

Are you willing to assymble this tower, and install an os?
Or do you want a pre-built?
Most here would recommend building it since you can choose where the money goes in the parts selection with that 2-400, resulting in a better pc for the needs. And it's pretty simple.
If you want it ready to go out of the box, suggestions could be made.
 
Hi, I was thinking out of the box but I would like to try building one, I know somebody who knows a fair bit so if I had the parts he could help put them together
 
You just need the tower portion then? Already have everything else? monitor/keyboard/etc? What about an os?

Yeah have monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. Just need the tower part, (not sure what need an os means?) hard drive? if so then yes need that,
 
It will prob be best not to build one as need it asap really, i've also been looking on pc world, are they any good on there?
