Help a student out. Hp laptop

Hi.
I'm a student so a laptop is incredibly important to me and money is very tight. I bought this laptop brand new off of eBay a year ago off someone who nevwr used it.
and it's not had a single problem since Ive had it

Yet suddenly 3 major issues have happened all at once and I don't know if they are related or where to even start.

Run hp diagnostics the quick one came through as a pass and the long one took too long my laptop went to sleep and wouldn't wake up.

Here are the 3 issues

1. It switches off randomly once it is working just dead like it's run out of battery even though it's plugged in

2. It doesn't sleep it goes into a coma. If I leave it or close the lid or try and turn it on sometimes it just refuses to bring up any picture or come off the black screen.

3. Sometimes it repeatedly turns on and off before getting to the home screen. And sometimes the screen is just full of green lines.

A video of it here. (Boring video)

If anyone had any ideas on what I can do whether it's software or hardware anything will help I really need a working laptop

Thanks

Joe

How many times does the caps lock button blink? It could be series of blinks so count to make sure they are same. That would be a code to tell you whats wrong with it. By the way, HP's suck.

Also, what is the exact model number?

It blinks 3 times on second look. It's a pavilion dv7000 74u55ea

The restore turnt off halfway through now I can't even load windows

If its just a series of 3 flashes and thats it then its a memory issue. Try removing all memory sticks and reinserting them.

It's pretty much unusable now even after hard reset
No, hard drive isn't memory.[/QUresetting

I've tried removing ram checking all connections I managed to do a bios setup that installed then once windows started it shut down it sometime starts up form multiple bios startups or hard resets but then instantly shuts down after I've logged in

Is it just me or are alot of threads by new people making little to no sense these days..?

Ask for help...receive help...continue to spin in circles and not listen to help given...

Did you try re-seating the RAM like John suggested?
Sorry I replied in the quote

Yeah I tried removing all sticks cleaning dust off fans ect ect
