Help accessing modem

I have a Westell 6100 DSL modem, connected to a Netgear WGR614 wireless router, which is wired to my Dell Dimension 3000 running windows xp.
When I first set up the router, it assigned itself 10.0.0.1, and the computer 10.0.0.2. The modem was 192.168.1.1 and did not change. I was previously able to access the modem from an internet browser, but I no longer can.
This is most likely because I recently had to reinstall the router. As far as I know, none of the ip addresses changed.
I can still access the router, and browse the internet, but I can't access the modem.
Suggestions?

im gathering your trying to access the modem?

unplug the router and run the modem directly into the pc

goto start click run
type cmd
type ipconfig/all

note the gateway thats the modem ip..

if the modem is BRIDGED (you would have to check with your isp)
it wont let you access the modem at alll when the router is plugged in

hope that helps :)

Default Gateway is 192.168.1.1, and I can access the modem,
but it fails after hooking the router up again.
I'm pretty sure the modem is not bridged, because I have been able to access
it through the router before.... Is it possible for this to change?

Great, now I can't even access the router. According to the ipconfig page, the ip address
is still 10.0.0.1. I don't understand how I can access the internet through both the
router and the modem, but my computer can't seem to see them individually.
