You could install software that doesn't that. Net Nanny (have to buy, but free trial), and Internet Controller 4.0.1 (Free). These two are good. What they do is keep track of the "internet activity" on a computer. Net Nanny, also block some sites.
If you don't want to install software. You can always look at the temporary internet files at C:/Windows/temporary internet files or under the Folder Temp. It has jpegs and cookie in there. Jpeg are picture files, Cookies are Text files. In the cookies you can see the url that a person when to. However, if the person delete both the history and the temp files then there would be a problem.
Also there is a folder called "Cookies", It however doesn't get delete when you clear the history. Its C:/Windows/Cookies/. Or search for it in you hard drive.
