help asap please hd swap

alrigh ti tooka nd hd out iof one computer and put it in mine as cable select, they both comps are similar, except the bad hd is ide and the good one is ide, i tried booting them mine as sata and theres as cable and its like that pc took over and was the boss and had all the same problems

huh?

you switched a hard drive from one pc to another? the bad one is ide and the one your replacing is sata?

are you trying to copy data over to the new one? (if thats what your doing)


please explain further and try to type with some grammar so its at least somewhat understandable:D
 
sorry man i was in a rush, ok the bad comp had an ide hd so i took it out and am putting it in the good comp as cable select, the current hd in the good comp is sata, id like to have them both boot up
