help ati tv tuner wont work

i recently bought an ati theatre 650 pro tv tuner and put it on both xp pro and ex mce, and i cant get the darn thing to work. i always get an error when i install catalyst media center and memmory dumps when i boot from xp pro and i get decoder error when i boot into xp mce. my graphics card is an ati x1600xt so the card is up tp par...any ideas...ive tried downloading drivers and software from ati but no go either...help please

I feel bad for you. Everything I had ATI in regards to software, drivers, MMC, and ATI support were beyond horrible. I would try uninstalling everything ATI and starting from scratch because ATI support will only reply to your ticket with some solution that has nothing to do with your problem at hand. Go with the start from scratch idea.

I really suggest that you return it, I have also found that Ati hardware is really horrible. I suggest you get another tuner card, leadtek seems to make really good ones, I have bought one two months ago, never had a hitch.
