help, battery dying!

hello,
this is the second laptop ive had with a battery problem. its plugged in but it says online: discharging. its beeping right now with a warning. help! what is wrong?

Are you sure the problem is with the battery, not the CHARGER? (Last time when I thought my battery was dying, it turned out the charger was fried :eek:
 
there is a chance it could be your charger. try to get access to another one and plug it in your pc, and see if you get charge. if you dont then more than likely it is your battery.
