Or any other computer that might be available better than this that is ranged around 2000~2700 might work plz help me wid this
 
You could build a e6600 with faster memory, a dual tuner tv tuner, waaay faster video card, and 2x larger hard drive for under $2k
 
I agree with heyman's first post...none of those are worth $2.5k. For that much, I'd have 4gb RAM, ~750W PSU, an 8800GTX, and I might be able to work in a Core 2 Extreme.
 
If you are going to be building/buying a new PC there is no reason to get XP and not Vista

Other then the fact that not everyone agrees Vista is better. :D I've built three computers since Vista was released, all three are running XP. Vista is great and a lot of people are very happy with it but I'm not the only one that's still building with XP.
