Help big Problem with my card

today when i woke up I went to start my computer and evrything started fine but then when it got to the desktop, the color and resolution were all messed up. I normally run 32-bit color and 1440xby sumthin i forget. When i started my comp it was 680x480 and the color was at 4-bit. When i went to go change this, i didnt have all my resolution sizes so i couldn't set it to 1440.

My graphics card came with software called nVidia Desktop manager which should have started up with the comp and didnt and on top of that it wont even open when i try to run it.

My graphics card is EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Video Card - 512MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0

Can anyone please help me!!!!!!!

oh and one more thing. the part where it says that i didnt have my resolution sizes, When i tried to change the color to 32-bit and clicked apply, it would automatically change back to 4-bit
